The Institution has a well-equipped audiovisual unit, computer lab, physical science lab, and life science lab units to facilitate the qualitative improvement of the teaching-learning process. As an Institute of Teacher’s Training, the basic goal of the Institution is to inculcate teaching skills and competencies among the students of the Institutions. The Institution is also having a group of non-academic staff properly skilled and experienced. The Institution has a very enriched library to provide sufficient references and textbooks to the students for the teacher training courses. The institution has a future aim to extend its academic activities by introducing many other courses. The Institution is growing towards a center of excellence for teacher’s training under the University of Burdwan.
